Dj Iber is a talented croatian DJ. Quite new on the scene, she delivered her first public sets in Japan, creating a whole new hype over there. She played in all the biggest venues of the country and climbed the ladder of japanese starsystem quicker than any DJ before. She set new standards of Djing and was acclaimed by the medias and the clubbing scene, thanks to her fresh new sound is driven by mash ups and eclectics mixes of hip hop, 80s classics, electro, catchy reggae tunes and music from all over the world (from balkan gypsy D&B to belgian local music). K'naan - The Dusty Foot Philosopher (2006)

K'naan comes from Somalia and exiled to Canada at a young age, escaping the war that was going on there. Basically, if you’re into rap or hip-hop with a dose of African flavour, nothing beats K’naan. On every song, his beats, rhythms, instruments, and lyrics come together to create a completely original rap song with some Somali rap in the mix. The Dusty Foot Philosopher’s album ibrang K’naan more recognition than ever before and rightfully so. Since then, he has also worked with artists such as Nelly Furtado, Mos Def, The Roots, and Damian Marley.

Black Grass - A Hundred Days In One (2006)

Using Hip Hop as his foundations and framework, Black Grass (aka Mex) fills in the gaps with funk, jazz, soul and reggae, helped out by a host of collaborators, including American and home-bred Hip Hop stars such as Maylay Sparks and Micall Parknsun, MC Blu Rum 13 as well as Jah Marnyah and Rider Shafique from the world of reggae.

The result is smooth, relaxing and laid-back, dipping in and out of the musical styles which comprise it from track to track. Absolute killing track of the album : Oh Jah. Check out, masterpiece!!!
